Source and claim labels

Two separate labels answer two separate questions. Where did this come from, and what does it establish?

Every receipt has two kinds of label. Neither one means “true”.

Source type (provenance): where did it come from?

Label Meaning
Primary document A court filing or judicial decision.
First-party statement An original public statement by the speaker or their counsel.
Analyst report An analyst’s own published investigation.
News report Attributed journalism.
Secondary capture A third-party capture or mirror of a public post. Its capture time is not the post time.
Market data A market-data provider’s page as it was displayed when we looked. One observer among several, not our own reading.
Unavailable original An original URL we could not open. It is listed for completeness and never presented as inspected.
Chain read UNREPOST’s own read-only Solana RPC or market-API observation, at a recorded time and slot.

Claim status (editorial): what does it establish?

Label Shape Meaning
Documented publication solid box ▤ The material was published as described. That says nothing about whether its contents are true.
Reported event dashed box ❝ An event described by attributed reporting, not independently confirmed by us.
Allegation double box § A party’s accusation or interpretation, not a finding.
Disputed dotted box ⇄ Competing explanations exist, and none is established.
Analysis thick left edge ∿ An analyst’s inference from data, with its limits stated alongside.
Corrected ✎ The record changed after publication. See its history.
Superseded struck through A later record replaces this conclusion.

Labels use shape and text as well as colour, so they remain distinguishable in print, in both themes, and without colour vision.

Court outcomes

Judicial outcomes are tracked separately: Allowed to proceed, Dismissed, Predicate rejected, Adequately pleaded (pleading stage only), Order to show cause, Pending. “Allowed to proceed” is not “proven”.

Why there is no “verified” badge

Whether a URL loaded, whether a filing exists, and whether an accusation is true are three different properties. A single green tick would blur them, so this archive shows each one separately.
